Why Immersive Websites Will Win Big!

It’s funny that we are already talking about Virtual Showrooms on websites when so many Dealers are still using a hand crank or deposit a quarter type of website. Ok, that might be stretching the truth a little bit, but some of the websites I see look like they were built by cutting and pasting…. And Elmer’s glue is what holds it all together. 😊 The only good news is that maybe the new generation of high-tech homeowners may see them as some kind of cool retro website…

I’m not sure if anybody has noticed but the Kitchen and Bath Industry has turned a corner from functional to fashionable and I don’t think you are going to find that on the current events page. Come on people! We were able to move on from fax machines last year so can we now focus on how we are marketing ourselves?

When it comes to Product/Project categories where the visual appeal is based on a variety of colors and textures working together in unison, a better view will give them more confidence in what they are buying, and in the company, they are purchasing from. Consumers already show a strong preference for immersive websites in just the engagement factor alone. Here are 5 of the top reasons to go immersive or go home.

  1. Enhanced User Experience: Immersive websites provide a more dynamic and engaging user experience through interactive elements, multimedia content, and innovative design layouts. Having an AI Design component will only enhance their journey. This makes the website more memorable and will significantly improve the user’s overall excitement level about the experience.
  2. Increased Engagement: By incorporating elements such as videos, animations, and interactive graphics, immersive websites can capture the attention of users more effectively than flat websites. This can lead to longer visit durations (like 4X longer!) and deeper engagement with the content.
  3. Better Information Retention: Immersive websites can facilitate better information retention by presenting content in a more engaging and interactive manner. Users are more likely to remember information that is presented in a unique and interactive way.
  4. Higher Conversion Rates: Businesses often find that immersive websites lead to higher conversion rates. The engaging nature of these sites can persuade users to follow through with actions like purchases, sign-ups, or other desired outcomes.
  5. Branding and Differentiation: Immersive websites allow brands to stand out by showcasing their uniqueness and creativity. This can be particularly beneficial in competitive markets where distinguishing one’s brand is crucial.

I will throw out one more caveat, the word on the street is that if your website is still living in Middle Earth a year from now, the Jetsons are going to be coming a’ knocking on your customer’s door! Hope to see you at the webinar! thad
